Over the years, Inproheat Industries has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Emily Carr University of Art + Design – Western Canada’s premiere art and design institution.
As part of this relationship, we’ve supplied Emily Carr University of Art + Design with an assortment of products with an emphasis on bronze casting consumables. Some of these applied materials include crucibles, bronze ingot, and investment casting sands & binders, as well as green sands, refractories, and electric furnace consumables.
Just recently, a move was completed by the university to a brand new Vancouver campus location on Great Northern Way. As part of this transition, we were very pleased to be able to assist them in selecting a new Induction melting furnace. The furnace was installed in conjunction with the new campus development.
Richard Buckley, the Division Manager of the Inproheat’s Engineering Materials Group, visited Emily Carr Studio Technician Ian Rhodes to check out the new furnace.
The new Emily Carr University of Art + Design location opened on September 5th, 2017 and Inproheat Industries was proud to contribute in our own way. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Emily Carr and supplying them with more materials in their new home for many years to come.
